I was at the forefront of the Adobe Digital Publishing tool kit that was integrated into InDesign. Using these exciting tools opened up a whole new way to engage with consumers, readers and clients. Some examples below are from a B2B initiative for KPMG to better sell their high level services; Interactive Engagement projects that include onboarding for Visa, digital conversion for Cooks Illustrated to make the magazine more engaging, and a conceptual catalog for Calvin Klein. Web solutions include projects for Crown Royal, Alyne, The Inn at Longshore and Cohen’s Veteran’s Network.
KPMG
The goal of this project was to increase the awareness of KPMG’s services to high level target clients. The strategic approach was to update the current library of print brochures into interactive iPad modules that would deepen audience engagement with the material and increase sales of the firm’s high level services. This model allowed KPMG to control the flow and emphasis of the content, as well as enabled the viewer to digest information in ways that resonated specifically, establishing a deeper understanding of how KPMG could improve their company. Crown Royal concept: Asked to re-imagine how the brand could expand their merchandise selection, my concept was to make the experience much more engaging and connected to their target consumers.
My main focus was approaching the task as I had done with my previous editorial experience and to make the site a destination that would not only increase merchandise sales, but become an online magazine for Crown Royal consumers to engage with the brand in ways that would enhance and solidify their consumer relationships. My ideas were to have rotating topics of discussion their consumers were passionate about (fashion, music, custom fabrication, cocktail culture, art, design and community). I built in call to action points for makers and designers to engage with the brand and to potentially turn from consumer to collaborator. My concept also included creating a nation-wide initiative with local bartenders to work with the brand to create custom cocktails that highlighted local flavor and influence to further show how committed the brand was to it’s dedicated regional communities. Each of these topic points offered content creation opportunities, providing yet another layer of consumer engagement.
